ABOUT
BlackMoon was created out of my need to bring the worlds of music and
photography together. It is an
exploration into the energy of sound as seen through the silent world of the
lens. It connects the eye to the
heart. And there the music is heard,
felt, and seen. Black and white
photography is basic. Stripped of the
layers of reality, it is a blue print of sorts. In it’s raw form, it is a gift bestowed to the imagination. It captures a moment without
distraction.

idea is to let everyone be part of it.
Can I make a difference? I know
I can add a smile, a reaction. People
are passionate, and most of them honest.
What might look menacing to some, really isn't.
Basically self-taught, I approach
photography in a purely emotional manner.
It’s what the photo says that’s important; how it makes one feel in the
gut - “the center of the universe of feelings”.
Merging sound, light, and movement
with silence, darkness, and stillness.
The photos on this site are related
to live concert photography.
Photography has the power to stop time, to freeze the moment. In doing so, the seed of eternal life is
embedded on each image. All it takes is
for the viewer to look at it to evoke the thoughts, the sounds…..
